Poland signs contracts for 27.3 pct of EU funds for 2021-2027 by Nov 17 - funds ministry
By November 17, 9,520 agreements have been signed for EU funding of projects that will use 27.3 percent of the available pool of EU cohesion policy funds earmarked for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy said on its website.
"We have signed agreements for the implementation of 9,520 investments with a total eligible expenditure of PLN 113 billion, PLN 89 billion of which in EU funding, which makes up 27.3 percent of the available pool of EU funds," the ministry wrote.
The ministry added that by November 17 - under national and regional programmes - potential beneficiaries had submitted 43,954 applications for project co-financing with a total value of PLN 368.2 billion (EUR 84.98 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 284.1 billion (EUR 65.6 bln).
