Poland signs contracts for 40.6 pct of EU 2021-2027 funds by April 21 - funds ministry
By April 21, 14,692 contracts had been signed for EU funding for projects that will use 40.6 percent of the available EU cohesion policy funds for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) reported on its website.
"14,290 project co-financing agreements were signed with beneficiaries, with eligible expenditure of PLN 161.6 billion, including PLN 127.1 billion of EU co-financing, representing 40.6 percent of the available allocation of EU funds," the ministry wrote.
MFiPR added that by April 20, under national and regional programmes, potential beneficiaries had submitted 53,881 applications for projects with a total value of PLN 427.7 billion (EUR 100 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 329.9 billion (EUR 77.17 bln).
