Poland signs contracts for 45.4 pct of EU 2021-2027 funds by July 13 - dev. funds ministry
By July 13,17,408 agreements had been signed for EU funding for projects that will use 45.4 percent of the available EU cohesion policy funds earmarked for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) reported on its website.
"17,408 project co-financing agreements have been signed with beneficiaries, with eligible expenditure of PLN 184.1 billion, including PLN 144.3 billion of EU co-financing, representing 45.4 percent of the of EU funds' available allocation," the ministry wrote.
MFiPR added that by July 13, under national and regional programmes, potential beneficiaries had submitted 59,238 applications for projects with a total value of PLN 459.9 billion (EUR 110.75 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 362.5 billion (EUR 85.1 bln).
