Poland signs contracts for 46.6 pct of EU 2021-2027 funds by July 27 - dev. funds ministry
By July 27, 17,975 agreements had been signed for EU funding for projects that will use 46.6 percent of the available EU cohesion policy funds earmarked for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) reported on its website.
"17,975 project co-financing agreements have been signed with beneficiaries, with eligible expenditure of PLN 190.0 billion, including PLN 148.1 billion of EU co-financing, representing 46.6 percent of the of EU funds' available allocation," the ministry wrote.
MFiPR added that by July 27, under national and regional programmes, potential beneficiaries had submitted 59,784 applications for projects with a total value of PLN 476 billion (EUR 111.8 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 366.3 billion (EUR 86 bln).
