Poland to simplify tax system under second stage of deregulation process, says PM
As part of the second stage of deregulation, the government plans to simplify the tax system, Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced in a statement before a first government meeting after the reshuffle.
"We intend (...) for the second stage [of deregulation - PAP ed.] to be even more ambitious. One of the tasks we discussed before today's meeting is the very ambitious intention (...) to simplify the tax system in Poland," Tusk said.
"I realise that we will not be able to do this in a week. But I would like Poland, in terms of the competitiveness of its economy, not to be among the countries with the most complicated business systems, including the tax system, but to have one of the simplest, as far as possible," he added.
