Poland's c. bank to bring no contribution to state budget in 2026 - MinFin
Poland's Ministry of Finance does not anticipate any state budget revenue in 2026 from the National Bank of Poland's profit contribution, according to the ministry's explanatory memorandum to the 2026 budget bill.
"In 2024, the financial result of Poland's central bank NBP was negative and amounted to PLN -13,347.9 million. Due to the recorded loss, the National Bank of Poland did not make a payment from its profit to the state budget in 2025," the ministry pointed out.
"This is in line with the forecast in the 2025 budget bill. In 2026, no state budget revenue from Poland's central bank NBP profit payments is expected either," it added.
