In the fourth quarter of 2025, companies expect the economic situation to stabilise, according to Poland's central bank NBP's latest Quick Monitoring survey.
"In the third quarter of 2025, assessments of the current situation of enterprises were slightly negative and similar to those recorded before the quarter. The stabilisation of the synthetic indicator of the current situation was the result of an improvement in the economic and demand situation and a deterioration in liquidity and debt service quality," the NBP reported.
"In most groups of companies distinguished by the purpose of goods and services, the assessment of the economic situation was neutral or good, with only manufacturers of investment goods and durable consumer goods reporting an unfavorable assessment," it added.
The synthetic indicator of the future situation improved and points to the stabilisation of the economic situation in the fourth quarter of 2025, as expected by enterprises.
Almost all of the index's components contributed to its growth, with the exception of the cyclical component for the labour market.
According to the NBP survey, economic stabilisation can be expected in all classes of enterprises distinguished by the purpose of goods and services, with the exception of producers of durable consumer goods, where a marked improvement is expected.
