Poland's domestic net financing of budget borrowing needs at PLN 240.8 bln - MinFin
Poland's Ministry of Finance plans that domestic financing of the state budget's net borrowing needs will amount to PLN 240,767.7 million (EUR 56.4 bln) in 2026, while foreign financing will amount to PLN 182,105.4 million (EUR 42.7 bln), according to the explanatory memorandum to the 2026 budget bill.
The planned level of gross borrowing needs in 2026 is PLN 690,032.9 million (EUR 161.7 bln), against an expected execution in 2025 at PLN 488,607.8 million (EUR 114.5 bln).
Next year, Poland's net borrowing needs will amount to PLN 422,873.2 million (EUR 99.1 bln) versus 2025 projected amount of PLN 300,522.2 million (EUR 70.4 bln).
In 2026, Poland's state budget deficit is expected to amount to PLN 271,740.0 million (EUR 63.7 bln), the European funds budget deficit to PLN 36,204.7 million (EUR 8.5 bln), and other net borrowing needs to PLN 114,928.5 million (EUR 26.9 bln).
