Poland's Economic Sentiment Indicator at 99.4 pts in July - EC
The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) for Poland has fallen to 99.4 points in July from 101.5 points in June (adjusted), according to data from the European Commission published on Wednesday.
According to the EC, the business climate index for Polish industry in July was minus 15.9 versus minus 15.4 points in the previous month.
The services index was minus 3.6 points against minus 3.4 points in June.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) is composed of indications for industry (40 percent), services (30 percent), consumers (20 percent) and construction and retail (5 percent each).
The 100-point level corresponds to the long-term average of the ESI (since 1990).
