GPW SAPoland's electricity turnover down by 0.2 pct y/y in Q2 2025 - commodity exchange
Poland's total electricity turnover on the TGE commodity exchange decreased by 0.2 percent year on year in the second quarter of 2025 to 30,062,801 MWh, TGE said in a press release.
The turnover increased by 5.9 percent in quarterly terms.
On the futures market, turnover fell by 0.9 percent year on year to 18,040,403 MWh, while on the spot market, turnover increased by 2.0 percent to 12,022,398 MWh.
On the natural gas market, transactions with a volume of 61,532,831 MWh were concluded, which represents an increase of 88.9 percent year on year and 57.7 percent quarter on quarter.
On the futures market, transactions with a volume of 54,382,529 MWh were concluded, a year-on-year increase of 93.3 percent, while on the spot market, transactions with a volume of 7,150,302 MWh were concluded, representing an increase of 61.4 percent.
