Poland's finance minister calls for candidates for chairman of Poland's Fiscal Council

Poland's Minister of Finance has announced a call for candidates for the position of Chairman of the Fiscal Council, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Finance.


According to the announcement, candidates can apply until July 11, and interviews with them are planned for the period from July 28 to August 8, 2025.

By September 30, 2025, the Minister of Finance should select two or three candidates and forward information about them to the Lower House of parliament Sejm Speaker, together with documents confirming that they meet the specified requirements.

The chair of the Fiscal Council is appointed by the Sejm, with the consent of the Senate, from among no fewer than two and no more than three candidates nominated by the finance minister.
