Poland's minimum wage increase in 2026 to cost SMEs PLN 3.44 bln
The minimum wage and hourly rate increase planned by the government for 2026 will cost small and medium-sized enterprises PLN 3.44 billion (EUR 803.24 mln) and large companies PLN 605.3 million (EUR 141.34 mln), according to the regulatory impact assessment of the draft regulation.
Households are set to gain PLN 2.72 billion (EUR 635.1 mln).
The government is proposing an increase in the minimum wage to PLN 4,806 (EUR 1,122.20) and PLN 31.40 (EUR 7.33) per hour in 2026.
According to the regulatory impact assessment, the effect on the public finance sector will be positive at PLN 1.3 billion (EUR 303.55 mln).
