Poland's retail bond sales at approx. PLN 7.4 bln in April - MinFin
Poland's sales of retail bonds in April amounted to PLN 7.366 billion (EUR 1.73 bln), against PLN 5.491 billion (EUR 1.3 bln) in March, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
The finance ministry reported that the most popular instruments purchased were 3-year bonds - TOS. Individual buyers earmarked an amount of over PLN 3.586 billion (EUR 843.43 mln) for their purchase (49 percent share in the sales structure).
1-year bonds - ROR (24 percent of total share) with sales at PLN 1.790 billion (EUR 421 mln) were also popular among purchasers.
4-year bonds - COI (11 percent) were also very popular. Further down, savers chose 10-year bonds - EDO (8 percent), 2-year bonds - DOR (5 percent) and 3-month bonds - OTS (2 percent).
Year-to-date, retail bond sales have totalled around PLN 24.7 billion (EUR 5.8 bln).
