Poland's retail bond sales at nearly PLN 8.23 bln in July - MinFin
Poland's sales of retail bonds in July amounted to PLN 8.226 billion (EUR 1.93 bln), against PLN 6.564 billion (EUR 1.54 bln) in June, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement. This is the highest monthly retail sales figure since August 2024.
The finance ministry reported that the most popular instruments purchased were 1-year bonds - ROR. Individual buyers earmarked nearly PLN 3.3 billion (EUR 774.2 mln) for their purchase (40 percent share in the sales structure).
Slightly less interest was shown in 3-year bonds TOS (38 percent of total share), with sales at nearly PLN 3.1 billion (EUR 727.3 mln).
Year-to-date, retail bond sales have totalled PLN 45.6 billion (EUR 10.7 bln), down by PLN 4.8 billion (EUR 1.13 bln) year on year.
