Poland's total household financial assets at nearly PLN 3.6 trn at end-Q2 2025
The total value of financial assets of Polish households amounted to PLN 3,597,255 million (EUR 849.3 bln) at the end of the second quarter of 2025, while PLN 1,818,609 million (EUR 429.4 bln) was held in cash and on bank accounts, Poland's central bank NBP reported.
At the end of the second quarter, equity shares and units or participation units in mutual funds amounted to PLN 840,578 million (EUR 198.46 bln).
Household liabilities amounted to PLN 844,726 million (EUR 199.44 bln). This amount consisted of PLN 831,162 million (EUR 196.24 bln) in loans, including PLN 785,590 million (EUR 185.5 bln) in long-term loans.
At the end of the first quarter of 2025, the total value of financial assets of Polish households stood at PLN 3,516.3 billion (EUR 830.2 bln).
