Polish contractors to get PLN 53 bln for works on first nuclear power plant, says PM
The domestic contractors are likely to receive PLN 53 billion (EUR 12.4 bln) for their input in the construction of Poland's first nuclear power plant, Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a speech in Warsaw.
"We have decided, it is irrevocable, that in the whole investment, I am talking about the first nuclear investment (...), PLN 53 billion must go to Polish companies directly," Tusk stressed.
"This is the task that 100-percent state-owned SPV Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ) was given to perform. Subcontractors, contractors, this amount of PLN 53 billion must come from Poland," he added.
