Polish Investment & Trade Agency supports EUR 671 mln investments in Q1 2025
Polish Investment & Trade Agency (PAIH), in the first quarter of 2025, supported investments worth EUR 671 million, compared to about EUR 344 million a year earlier, according to Minister of Economic Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk and PAIH representatives.
"Today we have EUR 671 million (the value of investment outlays declared by investors in the first quarter), a year ago, it was EUR 344 million, which is almost half less, while 2 years ago it was EUR 243 million, so you can clearly see how these efforts that are being made by the PAIH management are bringing the desired results," Paszyk said.
He noted that Polish companies have an increasing share of significant investments; industries include waste management and electronics.
"Today we are summing up the first quarter of 2025. This is EUR 671 million of the value of investment outlays declared by investors, this will be 1025 jobs, and we are talking about 8 completed projects," deputy CEO of PAIH Pawel Pudlowski added.
