WP Media has approval of Poland's antitrust regulator to take over Invia Group

Poland's antitrust and consumer protection regulator UOKiK has agreed to the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in the European leader in online travel Invia Group by Wirtualna Polska Media, part of listed online media group Wirtualna Polska Holding, the latter announced in a market filing.


WP said that it will announce in a separate report the fulfilment of the second condition precedent, i.e. the approval of the Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange, approving the buyer of Invia shares as part of the People's Republic of China asset sale procedure.

Invia is a European company based in Prague, Czech Republic. Invia, through its subsidiaries, operates on the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland in the area of intermediation in booking travel services.
