Polish Armaments Group companies to receive PLN 3 bln from Capital Investments Fund
The four companies constituting the Polish Armaments Group PGZ will receive PLN 3 billion (EUR 706 mln) from the Capital Investments Fund (FIK) for the development of the group's Narew programme, the Ministry of State Assets wrote in a press release.
The companies Jelcz, PIT-RADWAR, WZU and ZM Tarnow will receive funds for the development of infrastructure and production capabilities, which should translate into an increase in the scale of operations and the implementation of a wide range of technical modernisation programmes for the Polish Armed Forces, including air defence systems.
The Capital Investment Fund is a special-purpose fund managed by the Minister of State Assets.
