PGE SAPoland likely to see reduction in energy tarrifs in autumn, says FinMin
Poland's Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski expects a reduction in energy tariffs in the autumn, according to his statements made at the ceremony of listed power utility PGE's strategy announcement.
"PGNiG [PGNiG OD, the gas retail subsidiary of Poland's largest energy concern Orlen - MI ed.] has reduced its gas tariff. We expect further reductions in electricity tariffs in the autumn," Domanski said.
As he pointed out, there is a lot of investment going on in the field of energy in Poland, including in the grid.
"The energy transformation is accelerating. It will be the driving engine of the Polish economy. I am convinced that PGE will play a key role in this," Poland's finance minister assessed.
