Poland's flag airline LOT wants to transfer its flight operations to CPK by end-2032
Poland's flag airline LOT Polish Airlines (PLL LOT) wants to transfer its flight operations to Poland's central transportation hub CPK by the end of 2032, according to LOT's 2024 report.
"As part of the cooperation with CPK, long-term passenger traffic forecasts for LOT Polish Airlines have also been developed, assuming the transfer of flight operations from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Poland's central transportation hub by the end of 2032," LOT stated in the report.
Poland's flag airline estimates that the development of its route network, together with the simultaneous expansion of its fleet, will enable the company to secure a dominant position at Poland's central transportation hub CPK which is not only a strategic goal of the company, but also "the national interest of the Polish economy."
