AB SAAB IT posts PLN 30.8 mln attributable net profit in Q3 2023/24
Listed distributor of IT, household appliances and consumer electronics AB posted PLN 30.8 million (EUR 7.2 mln) attributable net profit in the third quarter of 2023/2024 financial year, up by 13 percent year on year, the company said in a market filing. The PAP Biznes consensus was for PLN 30 million (EUR 7 mln) net profit.

AB Group's revenue in the third quarter of the 2023/24 financial year amounted to PLN 3.12 billion (EUR 728.8 mln), while the consensus forecast was for revenue of PLN 3.17 billion (EUR 740.5 mln).
"In the nine-month period of financial year 2023/2024, the IT distribution market in the region [Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia - PAP ed.] continued to be in a slowdown phase, related to the sentiment in the economy as a consequence of, among other things, the ongoing armed conflicts and the uncertain political situation," the company said in a filing.
"Market turnover in this period remained at the same level as in the same period of the previous year," it added.
