Hungarian MOL fuel has agreement on securing crude oil transport via Druzhba pipeline

Hungarian fuels group MOL has concluded an agreement on securing the transport of crude oil through the Druzhba pipeline, the company said in a press release .

MOL said it had concluded agreements with oil suppliers and pipeline operators to secure the continuous transport of crude oil on the Druzhba pipeline through Belarus and Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia.

As a result of the agreements, the Mol Group will take ownership of the oil volumes in question at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border from September 9, 2024.

As stated, the updated transport agreements and new oil takeover arrangements will fully comply with all relevant sanctions and regulations, including from the EU and Ukraine.
