Text SAText software estimates it had USD 22.84 mln in payments received in Q2 of 2024/25
Software services firm Text estimates that it had USD 22.84 million in payments received in Q2 2024/25, up 14.9 percent year-over-year and 1 percent from the previous three months, respectively, the company said in a market filing.
As reported, the estimated value of Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) of the all-product group, at the end of September 2024, was USD 7.04 million, up 8.8 percent year-on-year and up 0.4 percent from June 30, 2024.
In addition, it was reported that at the end of September 2024, the ARPL (average monthly revenue per licence - the same as the previously used term ARPU) of the LiveChat product was USD 173.9, compared to USD 170.7 at the end of June 2024 and USD 156.7 a year ago.
The ARPL of the ChatBot product was USD 148.1 versus USD 146.2 at the end of June 2024 and USD 126.6 a year ago, respectively.
The ARPL of the HelpDesk product, on the other hand, was USD 191.1 versus USD 172.0 at the end of June 2024 and USD 137.7 a year ago, respectively.
As reported, the optimisation activities initiated at the end of the 2023 calendar year, which optimised the pricing structure of the offering and customer usage of the LiveChat product, translated, among other things, into an improvement in revenue churn (net MRR churn), an increase in ARPU, while increasing the customer churn rate (customer churn). Optimisation measures will continue in the following quarters, but their expected impact on operating ratios will be less.
At the end of the second quarter of the financial year, the number of paying LiveChat customers was 36,435. At the end of September, the number of ChatBot customers was 2,962 and the number of HelpDesk customers at the end of the period was 1,224.
Revenue resulting from the Text Platform (API as a Service) commercialisation project, launched in the previous quarter, increased by 16 per cent to USD 59,000.
