Azoty chemicals wants to develop in arms sector

Listed chemical group Azoty wants to develop, among other things, in the defence sector and become involved in explosives development programmes, CEO Adam Leszkiewicz told a press conference on Thursday.


"At the moment, we are already a manufacturer of explosives components, we are active, for example, in the area of concentrated nitric acid, nitrose, and we sell these products for use in both the civilian industry and the defence industry," CEO Leszkiewicz said.

"Having experience in these raw materials, we want to develop these areas and become part of various programmes for the development of the explosives area in different civil and military scopes in our factories, especially in Tarnow," he added.
