PGE SAPGE power signs amendment with state development bank to increase loan amount to PLN 3.9 bln
Listed power utility PGE has signed an annex to its term loan agreement with Polish state development bank BGK, in which the amount of the loan was increased to PLN 3.9 billion (EUR 900.5 mln) from PLN 2.5 billion (EUR 577.3 mln), PGE said in a market filing. At the same time, the financing period was extended to a maximum of 12 years from a maximum of eight years.
The final repayment date was set for December 20, 2036. In addition, the annex introduces the possibility of using financing in EUR based on a floating interest rate based on the relevant EURIBOR rate (reference rate) plus a margin.
PGE said that after the conclusion of the annex, the total debt resulting from term loans with BGK may amount to no more than PLN 4.62 billion (EUR 1.1 bln), while the total debt resulting from all loan agreements concluded with BGK may amount to no more than PLN 7.52 billion (EUR 1.7 bln).
