Nawrocki leads Polish presidential runoff with 51 pct ahead of Trzaskowski with 49 pct - late poll
Karol Nawrocki, a right-wing presidential candidate supported by the main opposition party, Law and Justice (PiS) won the second round of the Polish presidential ballot on Sunday, securing 51 percent of the vote against Rafal Trzaskowski, backed by the centrist ruling party with 49 percent, a second late exit poll by the Ipsos agency for Polish television broadcasters showed.
The second late poll incorporates results from 90 percent of polling stations.
In the initial exit poll published just after the stations closed, Trzaskowski won 50.3 percent of votes, while Karol Nawrocki got 49.7 percent.
Turnout likely hit 71.7, Ipsos said.
