Orlen energy launches first VC hub by S7 expressway

Poland's largest energy concern Orlen has launched its first Orlen Charge electric vehicle charging hub by the S7 route, at the Olsztynek Poludnie expressway service area, the company announced in a press release. By the end of the year, the company will open several more hubs on motorways and expressways, including in Szczecin (Western Pomerania), Gorzow Wielkopolski (Greater Poland) and Nowy Dwor Gdanski (Pomerania).


As stated, all Orlen Charge hubs will be equipped with six to twelve charging points, with an intelligent power distribution system.

Orlen Charge currently has over 1,200 electric car charging points throughout Poland. In line with the group's strategy for 2035, the Orlen Charge network intends to achieve a leading position in the public EV charging market in Poland.

In response to growing demand, charging points will also be established in other European markets where Orlen is present.
