Poland's Ministry of State Assets to present details on coal assets spinoff by end-Q2 2025
Poland's Ministry of State Assets (MAP) will be able to present details regarding the spinoff of coal assets from the Polish energy sector by the end of the second quarter of 2025, according to a letter from state assets deputy minister Robert Kropiwnicki prepared for a parliamentary subcommittee meeting.
According to the state assets ministry, current efforts are focused on finalising an agreement with a consultant selected in the second procurement process.
"Due to the scale of the assets involved and the multifaceted nature of the analyses, decisions regarding the process will be made only after completing the work of the team dedicated to coal asset separation and analysing the results from the external advisor," Kropiwnicki wrote.
As he explained, consequently, detailed information on decisions related to this process will be available to be presented by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
