BGK bank secures EUR 600 million EIB loan to fund S74 expressway construction

Poland's state development bank BGK, EU payments operator, obtained financing in the form of a loan granted by the European Investment Bank EIB for the benefit of National Road Fund (KFD), the bank said in a statement. Funds amounting to EUR 600 million will be allocated for co-financing the construction of a new section of the expressway S74 between Sulejow and Tomaszow and the bypass Opatowa.


"Along the entire section between Sulejow and Tomaszow there will be 15 road junction, advanced drainage systems, noise barriers, 8 expressway service areas and over 200 animal crossings," it said.

"The investment is included in the National Road Construction Programme 2030," the statement said.
