Apator meters assumes approx. PLN 80 mln CAPEX in 2025

Listed metering equipment producer Apator assumes that the CAPEX in 2025 can be at the level of about PLN 80 million (EUR 19.1 mln), the management board representatives told a conference.


"CAPEX in 2025 will rather be at the level closer to PLN 80 million, looking at the postponements from 2024 (...) In previous periods CAPEX was for the development of new products, and we are continuing this, but in 2025 we will focus more on automation and increasing operational efficiency," CEO Maciej Wyczesany said.

In its presentation, Apator said it plans a CAPEX of PLN 70-80 million (EUR 16.7-19.1 mln) for 2025.

Capital expenditures amounted to about PLN 59 million (EUR 14.1 mln) in 2024 and were mainly related to R&D expenditures for new products and investments in the group's machine park.

"We announced about PLN 70 million CAPEX for 2024, and we closed the year with about PLN 60 million, which is due to some investment shifts related to new customers, development of new products and this causes us to realise this PLN 10 million in the first quarter," added the CEO.
