Arctic Paper has agreement to acquire 4MW photovoltaic plant

Listed packaging manufacturer Arctic Paper's subsidiary - Arctic Power - has an agreement to acquire the Garwolin photovoltaic plant with a capacity of up to 4 MW, the company said in a market filing.


The transfer of rights to the Garwolin PV plant will take place upon conclusion of a distribution services agreement with the plant's distribution system operator.

The total transaction price for the acquisition of the Garwolin PV plant does not exceed 10 percent of Arctic Paper's equity.

As stated, the agreement is part of the implementation of the 4P Strategy in the company's energy segment, increasing its revenues.

Arctic Paper added that the energy produced at the Garwolin photovoltaic plant is to be sold to customers outside the Arctic Paper Group.
