ASTARTA Holding N.V. (the Company) informs that the Company has received information that on 9th March 2017 Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited and its affiliates ("Fairfax") acquired major shareholding in the Company pursuant to the Share Purchase Agreement of which the Company informed on 25 August 2016 in current report No 18/2016.

Fairfax is a holding company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in property and casualty insurance and reinsurance and investment management. Fairfax acquired in total 2,497,800 shares in the Company, representing 9.99% of the total voting rights of the Company from Aluxes Holding Limited. The purchase price was 60 PLN per share.
