Listed chemicals group Azoty's ambition at the end of 2025 is to achieve a positive EBITDA result against a loss of PLN 330 million (EUR 77.3 mln) at the end of last year, Azoty Group deputy CEO Andrzej Skolmowski told a press conference on Wednesday. The company will present its new development strategy in June.
"This is our ambition, but please do not equate this with our plan," deputy CEO Andrzej Skolmowski said when asked if the Azoty Group management board was counting on a positive EBITDA result at the end of 2025.
In 2024, Azoty Group generated consolidated sales revenues of PLN 13.04 billion (EUR 3.05 bln) and an EBITDA result of minus PLN 330 million (EUR -77.3 mln), with an EBITDA margin of negative 2.5 percent, which means an improvement of more than PLN 1 billion (EUR 234.2 mln) in EBITDA result compared to 2023.
Azoty group board member Pawel Bielski said that the company wants to present its development strategy in June.
"We are consistent in our announcements. We maintain that we will present a new strategy in the first half of 2025, this will happen in June. We are in the process of completing the work," Pawel Bielski told a press conference on Wednesday.
