Grupa Azoty SAAzoty chemicals posts PLN 150 mln net loss in Q3 2025 vs PLN 140.1 mln loss expected - prelims
Listed chemicals group Azoty estimates its net loss in the third quarter of 2025 at PLN 150 million (EUR 35.5 mln), the group announced in a market filing. The PAP Biznes consensus was for a net loss of PLN 140.1 million (EUR 33.1 mln). The results were significantly affected by one-off events related to the settlement of the EPC contract for the Polimery Police project.
Revenues from sales in the third quarter of 2025 are estimated at PLN 2.894 billion (EUR 684.14 mln) and EBITDA is expected to reach PLN 391 million (EUR 92.4 mln), which translates into an EBITDA margin of 13.5 percent.
In the prior year period, Azoty's consolidated EBITDA was PLN 511 million (EUR 120.8 mln) higher, and the EBITDA margin increased by 17.4 percentage points. EBIT and EBITDA improved in all business segments.
The PAP Biznes consensus assumed PLN 147.8 million (EUR 34.94 mln) in EBITDA and PLN 3,123.4 million (EUR 738.4 mln) in revenue.
In the first nine months of 2025, Grupa Azoty achieved consolidated sales revenue of PLN 10.035 billion (EUR 2.4 bln) and EBITDA of PLN 312 million (EUR 73.8 mln), with an EBITDA margin of 3.1 percent, up 6.1 percentage points year on year.
Grupa Azoty announced in a press release that the results for the third quarter of 2025 were significantly affected by one-off events in the Plastics Segment related to the settlement of the EPC contract for the Polimery Police project.
Other operating income included PLN 953.3 million (EUR 225.4 mln) in this respect, and the total positive impact of these events on EBITDA amounted to PLN 315.9 million (EUR 74.7 mln).
Azoty is slated to publish the final consolidated results for the third quarter of 2025 on Monday, November 24.
