Bank Pekao SABank Pekao, Poland's Industrial Development Agency ink agreement on key sectors investment
Poland's state-owned Industrial Development Agency (ARP) and listed lender Bank Pekao have signed an agreement aimed at supporting enterprises and developing investments in key sectors of the Polish economy, ARP and Pekao announced in a joint press release.
The partnership includes joint financing of investment projects, activities aimed at developing business relations, and the organisation of training programmes for employees of both institutions.
"Joint activities, including project financing, knowledge exchange and training, will enable us to support companies even more effectively in the implementation of ambitious projects,", said Pekao's deputy CEO Lukasz Januszewski, quoted in the press release.
"We are committed to creating conditions conducive to business development on both a national and local scale," he added.
As part of their cooperation, ARP and Bank Pekao plan to develop joint initiatives in areas such as industrial investment financing, energy transformation and green technologies.
The aim is to create stable conditions for entrepreneurs who want to expand their operations and compete on international markets.
