Benefit Systems SABenefit Systems posts PLN 261 mln EBITDA in Q4 2024, in line with earlier estimates
Listed employee benefit schemes provider Benefit Systems had a PLN 261 million (EUR 60.7 mln) EBITDA and a PLN 915.4 million (EUR 213 mln) revenue in the fourth quarter of 2024, the company said in its annual report. The results are in line with estimates the group presented in mid-February.
The Benefit Systems group's revenues increased by 22 percent to nearly PLN 3.4 billion (EUR 791.2 mln) for the full 2024, while operating profit (excluding the impact of the incentive programme) was 31 percent higher year on year, at PLN 715 million (EUR 166.4 mln).
The group's EBITDA at the end of last year was PLN 981.3 million (EUR 228.35 mln).
At the end of 2024, despite the payment of a record dividend, the group had net cash of PLN 153 million (EUR 35.6 mln). In total, the company earmarked PLN 399.4 million (EUR 92.94 mln) for dividends last year.
In 2024, the group's 'Poland' segment, which includes sports cards, the MultiLife programme, MyBenefit cafeteria and fitness club networks, increased revenues by 25 percent year on year. The number of sports card users increased by 168,000, and at the end of last year, nearly 1.6 million people were holding Benefit cards.
In 2025, Benefit plans to increase the base of sports card users in Poland by another 130,000.
"No less ambitious plans concern the number of users of the MyBenefit platform, as well as the further scaling of the MultiLife programme, focusing on employee wellbeing and development," the group wrote in a letter to shareholders.
At the end of 2024, the group had more than 240 of its own fitness clubs, with plans to open a further 20 new ones this year.
