BlackRock, Inc. with 5 pct stake in PZU insurer

BlackRock, Inc. holds 5 percent of the votes at listed insurance group PZU's general meeting as of May 20, 2025, as a result of its acquisition of PZU shares on May 15, PZU said in the market filing.


According to the notification in question, prior to the settlement of the transaction, BlackRock, Inc. held a total of 43,118,728 shares in PZU, representing 4.988 percent of the company's share capital and entitling it to exercise 43,118,728 votes representing 4.988 percent of the total number of votes at the company's general meeting.

Following the settlement of the transaction, BlackRock, Inc. holds 43,249,344 shares in PZU, representing a 5 percent stake in the insurer.

BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager. It offers a wide range of investment services, including mutual funds, investment advice and risk management. BlackRock has USD 11.5 trillion in assets under management.
