Budimex SABudimex builder's management board wants to extend current dividend policy beyond 2026
Listed builder Budimex's management board wants to extend the dividend policy guidelines from 2022, assuming submitting a proposal to the supervisory board and the general meeting to pay out 100 percent of net profit as dividends, CEO Artur Popko announced at a press conference following the release of group's financial report for the third quarter.
"We are working on a recommendation for the coming years, because the dividend strategy ends in 2026, but the management board's recommendation will be clear – we will want to extend the strategy in terms of dividend policy," CEO Popko told the conference.
Budimex's general meeting in May decided to pay a gross dividend of PLN 25.43 (EUR 6.00) per share from the group's 2024 net profit. A total of PLN 649.23 million (EUR 153.3 mln) was allocated to dividends. In 2024, Budimex paid a dividend of PLN 35.69 (EUR 8.43) per share.
Budimex's dividend policy for 2022 assumes that the management board will seek to submit a proposal to the supervisory board and the general meeting of shareholders to earmark 100 percent of the net profit for the financial years 2022-2026 for the payment of dividends.
The final recommendation will depend on specific factors, including the level of funds allocated to capital expenditure.
