Bumech coal inks cooperation deal with Swedish NAD on anti-drone support system

Listed coal group Bumech, owner of the Silesia mine, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Swedish company Nordic Air Defence AB concerning an anti-drone support system for armoured vehicles, the company announced in a market filing.


The agreement concerns joint production, assembly of subsystems and integration of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) technology for armoured vehicles. The agreement concerns the exploration of business opportunities in the Polish, Swedish and Ukrainian markets.

"The partnership with NAD will enable the equipping of armoured vehicles manufactured in cooperation with OTT Technologies (Pty) Ltd with an active anti-drone protection system for vehicles," Bumech said in the market filing.
