Bumech coal to make PLN 305.4 mln write-off in its 2024 results

Listed coal group Bumech, owner of the Silesia mine, will make an impairment of its subsidiary PG Silesia's assets in the amount of PLN 305.4 million (EUR 71.4 mln) as part of its consolidated statement for 2024, Bumech said in a market filing.


"The impairments will materially affect the financial results of the issuer and its capital group for the 2024 financial year and are the result of a prudent valuation of assets in connection with the ongoing restructuring proceedings of the PG Silesia subsidiary," Bumech said in the market filing.

Full results and information on the write-offs will be presented in Bumech's annual report.
