Comarch SAComarch IT records 3-5 pct growth in current order backlog
Listed IT company Comarch's current order backlog dynamics points to 3-5 percent growth, the company's deputy CEO and CFO Konrad Taranski told a press conference.
"What is the dynamics of the order backlog - positive. This change is a few percent, more or less a similar situation to the year before," Taranski said
"So far, we have had a few percent increase in the value of the backlog of 3-5 percent, now we also have such a range of 3-5 percent in the positive," he added.
The deputy CEO and CFO indicated that the company is currently not in talks that could result in acquisitions of other entities in the next few months.
Taranski added that the increase in employment will depend on the group's business progress.
"If our business progresses well further, we will of course increase employment," he said.
The group's plans for its subsidiary, Cracovia Hokej, involve running a section of the sport on ice, with team operations to be transferred from Cracovia to the new company from next season. The new subsidiary will also apply for a licence to play in the Polish ice hockey league.
Comarch posted net profit of PLN 12.1 million (EUR 2.9 mln) in the fourth quarter of 2024, down 34.3 percent year on year. The group's revenue amounted to PLN 609.1 million (EUR 146.55 mln), up 12.8 percent year on year.
In the last quarter of 2024, the group generated EBITDA of PLN 62.4 million (EUR 15 mln), up 53.2 percent from the prior year period.
In December, Comarch shareholders voted a resolution to delist the company's shares. Delisting is one of the planned steps in a process to enable Comarch to continue to grow as a private company.
