CORRECTION: PGE has acquisition term sheet for ZE PAK's gas unit PAK CCGT and in PGE PAK EJ nuclear unit

Listed power utilities PGE and ZE PAK have signed a term sheet on a potential transaction involving the acquisition by PGE of 100 percent of the shares in PAK CCGT gas unit from ZE PAK and 50 percent of the shares in PGE and ZE PAK's joint nuclear power unit PGE PAK EJ, ZE PAK said in a market filing.

PAK CCGT is implementing an investment in a CCGT gas 600 MWe class unit with associated infrastructure.

For this unit, PAK CCGT has been awarded a 17-year contract with a capacity obligation of 493 MW at a price of PLN 400.39 (EUR 94.93) per kW per year in the capacity market auction for the delivery year 2026.

The general contractor for the project is a consortium of Siemens Energy Global GmbH Co KG, Siemens Energy and Mytilineos.
