Listed real estate developer Dom Development believes that housing demand has a solid foundation to sustain itself, despite the cooling of the market through 2024, the management representatives told a videoconference.
"We (...) believe that demand has a solid foundation to sustain itself (...). The market has weakened a little over 2024, whereas we have managed, and it is the case that the signals, the statistics are such that the market shows weakness, but in our results, in our contacts with customers, we do not see as much weakness. It is more difficult, but we believe that demand is stable and will maintain, and we are satisfied with our sales," CEO Jaroslaw Szanajca said.
"We are doing better on the open market, if the statistics are to be believed," he added.
During the first three quarters of 2024, the group sold a total of 3,110 units, including 1,156 units in the third quarter alone, up 7 percent year on year.
