Enea SAEnea power secures 2,024 MW total at 2029 capacity catch-up auction
Listed power utility Enea has contracted at least 2,024 MW of total capacity obligation for its units in the 2029 capacity catch-up auction, the group said in a market filing.
The closing price of the auction, completed in the first round, amounted to PLN 534.09 (EUR 125.62)/kW/year.
Enea announced that the group's capacity contract portfolio had been supplemented by 2,024 MW, including 1,218 MW for new units under 17-year contracts and 806 MW under 5-year contracts. Currently, the Enea group will have a total of 3,573 MW of capacity obligations for the 2029 delivery year.
The group added that over the entire term of the contracts for new units, i.e. 17 years, total revenues will amount to at least PLN 11.057 billion (EUR 2.6 bln), and for modernised units, i.e. 5 years, total revenues will reach at least PLN 2.152 billion (EUR 506.15 mln).
