JSW coal terminates agreement concluded with AT Kearney consultancy

Listed coking coal group JSW's management board has decided to terminate the agreement concluded with consulting firm AT Kearney on November 25, 2024, JSW announced in a market filing. The agreement concerned supporting JSW's board in the execution of the group's Strategic Transformation Plan, including subsidiaries.


JSW added in the market filing that as a result of ongoing work related to the commencement of preparations for the business restructuring process, announced by the group on October 11, measures are currently being taken to stabilise the company's liquidity situation.

"In addition, measures will be taken to review the existing STP [Strategic Transformation Plan - MI ed.] initiatives and ensure their continuation by JSW. Following the review, initiatives with the greatest potential will be incorporated into the company's business restructuring activities," JSW said.

The group will communicate the results of the review, the new assumptions for the business restructuring process and its further key decisions in this matter in relevant current reports.
