JSW's coal output at 1.01 mln tonnes in August, sales at 1.18 mln tonnes

Listed coking coal group JSW produced a total of 1.01 million tonnes of coal in August, which translates into 84 percent of the monthly plan. Total sales reached 1.18 million tonnes, 95.3 percent of the plan for that month, JSW said in a market filing.


Coking coal output in August amounted to 0.87 million tonnes, which represents 81.5 percent of the plan for that month.

Coal production for energy purposes amounted to 0.14 million tonnes, 102.5 percent of the plan for that month.

Coking coal sales amounted to 0.93 million tonnes, which is 88.1 percent of the plan for this month, and sales of coal for energy purposes amounted to 0.25 million tonnes, which translates into 135.4 percent of the August plan.
