Listed copper and silver producer KGHM believes that it is too early to discuss dividends for 2025 due to market volatility, according to statements made by management representatives at a press conference following the release of group's financial report for the first half of the year.
"It is too early to talk about dividends, given the market volatility," KGHM's deputy CEO Piotr Krzyzewski told the conference.
He pointed out that the group's net result in the first half of the year was affected by exchange rate differences.
"It is difficult to say what will happen in the second half of the year," deputy CEO added.
In the first half of 2025, KGHM's consolidated net profit amounted to PLN 580 million (EUR 136.4 mln) against PLN 1.074 billion (EUR 252.6 mln) in the prior year period.
