Marcin Wasilewski to become member of Orlen's management board on November 6

Poland's largest energy concern Orlen's supervisory board has decided to change the date of Marcin Wasilewski's appointment as the company's board member for technology from January 1, 2025, to November 6, 2024, the company said in a market filing.

Marcin Wasilewski has served as CEO of InnoEnergy Poland and as a member of the executive board of InnoEnergy SE in the Netherlands since 2022. InnoEnergy has a portfolio of more than 180 companies in Europe in the area of green transformation.

Wasilewski has submitted a written statement that he has resigned as the CEO of InnoEnergy, whose activities are in competition with Orlen. The resignation will take effect on November 5, 2024.

In addition, he stated that he holds shares in Green-en, a company involved in biomethane projects, whose activities are partly competitive with Orlen, and that he intends to sell these shares before taking up his position on the company's board.

Wasilewski was associated with the Orlen group from 2006 to 2018. He served as head of the supervisory board of Anwil and CEO of Baltic Power (later chairman of the supervisory board) and was also a member of the supervisory board of Orlen Lietuva and a number of other Orlen group companies.
