Onde builder expects to achieve its target of 2 GW in its own RES projects in Q1 2026

Listed renewables construction company Onde, the subsidiary of Erbud group, expects to achieve its 2 GW target in its own renewable energy projects in the first quarter of 2026, management representatives told a video conference following the release of company's quarterly report. Onde plans to expand into foreign markets, starting with contracts in Germany.

"We have almost 1.8 GW in photovoltaics and wind, if we add 125 MW of storage, we get almost 2 GW; but when it comes to the non-storage portfolio, we assume that at the turn of the year, in the first quarter of 2026, we should achieve the target of 2 GW in the portfolio," Onde's deputy CEO Marek Marzec told the conference.

Onde has a total of 1,753 MW of projects, including 1,038 MW in wind. Projects totalling around 361 MW have grid connection conditions, and 118 MW have obtained building permits (36 MW wind). The group plans to grow its portfolio to over 2 GW in the coming years.

As the company representatives pointed out, the company's portfolio structure has been shifting towards wind projects, which they believe will add value and improve project execution.

Onde also announced its plans to develop in the area of energy storage. Right now, it is participating in tenders and is starting the development of its first projects.

The company also wants to strengthen its presence on foreign markets, starting with contracts in Germany.

"We are already present on the German market, and we hope that the first two contracts are a good start for further development. We have begun participating in various tender procedures related to the implementation of renewable energy sources," said CEO Pawel Przybylski.

"We have established a company in Romania and hope that in the future, after creating the appropriate structures in this market as well, we will be able to achieve success in the field of renewable energy implementation," he added.

Dariusz Grzeszczak, the CEO of Erbud group which Onde is a part of, sees the law deregulating the renewable energy market as a potential opportunity.

"The procedures are to be simplified so that the investment process takes one or two years instead of five, which will allow us to obtain building permits faster and build faster. For us as a group, and especially for Onde, this is a key regulatory change in Poland," Grzeszczak said.
